What are biocides and why do we avoid them?

Biocides are chemicals used to kill bacteria and microorganisms. They are often used in textiles to prevent odor, but research shows they wash out quickly and enter nature. There, they can harm aquatic organisms and contribute to long-term environmental problems.

For us, that is not an option. That’s why you won’t find any biocides or antibacterial treatments in our products.
